Bosch Australia identifies these as equivalent drainage faults. A blocked pump or kinked drain hose may be involved. Water can be hot, so follow Bosch’s controlled draining and model instructions rather than opening the pump while hot water is retained.
What to record before requesting help
- Photograph the complete display.
- Record the E-Nr and FD number from the rating plate without moving a heavy or built-in appliance.
- Note when the fault appears and whether it returns after the appliance is switched off normally.
- Stop using the appliance if there is water leakage, smoke, burning smell, gas smell, unsafe heat or repeated electrical tripping.
